You decide to hold your ground and stay on this side of the street. As you get closer to the cliff side, you notice that the van doesn't really do anything erratic, though you do see a
Luna Vista Police patrol car get behind him and turn the red and blue lights on.
Compliantly, the van pulls over. You take advantage of this chance to make haste around the bend and toward your house. As you pass Mr. Martindale's home, he stands outside, watching you cautiously. You nod at him as
you walk past and continue on toward the house.
He's a strange old dude, but he saved your life about a year ago. Up until then, you were under the impression he was just some old hermit with no personality...but for some reason, he actually likes you, and you're not sure why.
You continue on toward your house, when you realize Mr. Martindale's been walking down the street, keeping well back the whole time. He's making sure you get home safe.
